With a proper UV-resistant sealant applied after sanding and polishing, restored lenses typically stay clear for a few years, depending on how much sun the car sees and how it is washed. Kits that skip the UV layer often yellow again within months, which is why we never skip it.

Headlights are polycarbonate with a factory UV coating. Sun exposure breaks that coating down, and once it is gone the plastic itself oxidizes and yellows. Cars that park outside in hot inland cities go through this faster than garaged or coastal cars.

On nearly all oxidized exterior lenses, yes. What it cannot fix is damage on the inside of the housing, such as moisture, internal fogging, or a degraded reflector, and it cannot repair deep cracks. If your lens has one of those issues we will say so up front instead of restoring the outside and leaving the problem in place.

It is quoted per pair as an add-on to any package, and the base Essential package starts at $140. The exact add-on price depends on how heavily oxidized and pitted the lenses are. Send us a photo and we will confirm before booking.

For oxidation on the outside of the lens, restoration gets a comparable result for a fraction of the cost of new assemblies, and it keeps the original parts on the car. Replacement makes sense only when the housing is cracked, leaking, or damaged internally.

Yes. Headlight restoration does not require running water or a garage, so it is well suited to office lots, apartment garages, and curbside spots. We bring our own water and power.

No. We mask the paint and trim around each headlight before any sanding, and the sealant is applied only to the lens. The tape comes off at the end and the surrounding finish is untouched.
